Remote backup protects your most valuable business asset-your data. |
|
| Remote
backups work similar to regular tape backups with two important
differences.
Instead of sending data files to a directly connected tape drive, a remote backup sends its data over your existing Internet connection to an offsite storage server. It usually does this at night while your business is closed. The second difference is that your data is securely encrypted before being backed up. Absolutely no one can view your data once it leaves your PC. Our encryption technology greatly enhances security and is of particular importance to health care professionals - who must soon comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations (HIPAA). Remote backups remove the worry and expense associated with tapes and tape drives. No expenses are incurred for personnel to perform, monitor and verify the backup process. It's fully automatic. |
